Big Twin lovers looking for something different in a cruiser may find what they want with Triumph’s all-new Thunderbird. The 1600cc parallel-Twin is a clean-sheet design billed as a 2010 model, with the engine putting out some 80 horsepower and more than 100 foot-pounds of torque. It is counterbalanced for smoothness and fuel-injected for trouble-free operation. And to ensure that you can also stop this big musclebike, it’s fitted with triple disc brakes. Pitched as a power cruiser, the T-bird should live up to its billing. Also available: The Thunderbird ABS, the same machine equipped with anti-lock brakes.
