Unlike its S-type counterpart, the standard People 150 has a bit more of a European flavor to its styling, especially the little Vespa-like “fairing” around the handlebar-mounted headlight. It comes without a windshield but does have a liquid-cooled four-stroke motor that provides decent around-town zip. And like all People scooters, it uses 16-inch wheels for excellent stability. Also available: The People 50 keeps the 150’s styling but uses an air-cooled two-stroke engine for propulsion. An optional buddy seat allows for two-up riding. Kymco has sweetened the pot with a significant price break for 2009.
