It’s an electric-start bike, of course, but a kick lever is available as an option. The frame is lighter compared to last year’s, which helps improve handling. A Marzocchi fork and a Sachs shock nicely handle suspension duty, and they work via black anodized Excel rims mounted with street-legal rubber. Braking is via a Brembo radial-mount caliper and a large, 320mm rotor up front. Also available: The SM510R is the same bike as the 450 but is powered by the 501cc engine.

This is for the best enduro bike ,you picked the honda 450x vs the husqvarna TE450 ,big mistake. I owned the 450x last year 2008 and i must of spend $2500 dollars more to make it ride better and get more light power at night rideing, its bad.The honda engine doesnt have a oil line from the engine case to the top of the head to keep the oil running to the roller cams ,like the husq.I put 20000 kms of bush road a year ,to see my customers to sell them bush equipment and more . I am still on the same engine with the husq and changing oil every ride out and the dealer has not sold me anything yet ,no pistons , no lights, stator, bars, clamps, exhaust ,speedo, fuel light, etc it comes with the husq and not the honda or yamaha .I buy a new bike every year and it will never be a honda if they stay that way ,you must look at the package and some night rideing to make your decision not how many dealers their is ,husqvarna is back.
