It is odd to consider this bike something of a “middleweight” cruiser, but displacements have expanded mightily in the last few years. So, while a sport-tourer with a 1300cc engine is “big,” this smaller VTX is not. Honda discon¬tinued the 1800 line this year, but the 1300C, with its hot-rod styling echoing that of its bigger brother, was always a better choice for a lot of riders. After all, it’s 100 pounds lighter, significantly shorter and much less expen¬sive. There also are plenty of accessories available to complement one of the four available color options.
